AQUACIL has a dual function: mechanical filtering as it traps coarse impurities carried by the water (leaves, excess food, excrement), biological filtering thanks to its porous characteristic which offers a large surface area to help promote bacteria development which then break down the organic substances.

Fill a mesh bag with AQUACIL and then place the bag in the biological filter under the water recycle pump so that the water passes through it completely. Our 700 gr packet is sufficient for 120 - 150 litre aquariums. Although this product remains effective for a long period of time, it is however recommended to replace approximately every seven months.
